Excellent! I drive a van that has bucket seats with headrests that are not removable and do not raise up very high. So, it was very important to me that I get a booster with a headrest that could accomodate them, without pulling away from seats. Initially, I purchased a b505, but found that after I raised the headrests a few notches, my problem returned. I knew I wanted to replace it with a newer compass seat. The big question was whether I should go with the Compass b510 or the b530.
I experienced a lot of confusion regarding the differences between the Compass b510 and the b530. There is almost no information available, except for on car safety message boards. And, what I did find wasn't neccessarily correct. My gut told me that the b530 was the seat for me, but every site I visited said to go with the b510 - because the headrest is deeper. One site even said that the b530 is basically just the b505 with more modern fabric. I even consulted a representative here at elitecarseats.com, who had trouble answering my questions!
So, I ordered a b530, held onto my b505 and borrowed a b510 from a friend. When the b530 arrived, I lined them up next to each other and compared them. I have seen the three of them right next to each other- and I'm pretty sure I can answer all of the questions regarding the b530 that anyone might have. So, here goes:
Does the compass b530 have the new and improved belt path? YES!
Does the Compass b530 have the new and improved headrest that curves forward to accomodate vehicle headrests? YES!
Which is deeper, the headrest on the b530 or the b510? The headrest on the b510 is deeper, it's true. The newer b530 has a slightly more shallow headrest. However, it is still a very deep and safe eps foam-lined headrest. The difference appeared to be 3/4 of an inch at best. It is a HUGE improvement on the b505 (it is also a much longer headrest, height-wise) and is significantly nicer/deeper the vast majority of booster seats available on the market!
The Compass b530 is an amazingly nice seat. The fabric is high-quality and the seat is as comfortable as a booster can be. It can accomodate larger children, but still manages to cradle average-sized kids as well.
I am very pleased with this seat and so is my son. My only complaint is the lack of information available about the specific seat. I was really afraid of the b530 after reading that the headrest was not as deep, but am completely satisfied with the seat in real life. I wish I'd bought it sooner.
Best Results! I have tried many different diaper creams and was never satisfied with any until I found this one. Dyprotex works immediately and on really bad cases its cleared up within two or three applications! I used to be able to purchase this at Walgreens but I can no longer find it so I ordered about 12 boxes over the internet. I give it as a gift to all of my friends and have even given a box to my daycare to use. Dyprotex really works! I wish it came in a tube form which would be easier to carry in a diaper bag. The pad applicators are fine to use at home but on the go it's hard to keep neat in a diaper bag. Although I'm not a great fan of the packaging, the product is worth a little inconvience. Buy this diaper cream! You will see results immediately!
Great travel stroller I purchased the Maclaren because I was looking for something a little smaller and easier to travel with. I traveled a few times with the Bugaboo (in the travel case) and it just took up so much space (especially in a rental car!)
I have been very pleased with the Maclaren. Besides being super cute, this stroller is very comfortable for my daughter, very compact for travel, very easy to maneuver and has a surprising amount of storage. There is a little pouch on the back that is perfect for my wallet, cell phone and sunscreen.
The one drawback is the sunshade does little to block the sun. I usually travel with a little blanket and a couple of clothes pins to properly shade her.
Not perfect, but pretty good. like the tray and the "removeable" cover that comes with it except that you can't use the tray without the cover due to the slots in the tray for attaching the bebepod toy (not included). Food can easily get in those slots and doesn't come out quite as easily. ALso the little cover does not stay in place, it slides off easily. But it's nice to have a tray for the pod all in all. A suction cup base for the cover/liner or even something to make it catch into the groves made for the toy attachment would make it better. Maybe extra liners without having to buy another tray (if they make them, I haven't found them yet) would be good too.
these are perfect for my son! My 2yr old is 34inches, an only 24ilbs. So it's hard to find clothes that fit, 2t are to short but fit him in the waist, 3t fits good in length but falls off his body. So adjustable waist is a must, so thankfully I found the childrens place jeans for him, an Im hooked. They are great quility and look like his fathers fashionable jeans, so cute when they match. And he can wear the 3T so they are a good length on him but arent falling down. I liked these so much I bought another pair simialair from the store.
